Stephanie has an LLB (Hons) from the University of Auckland and has worked for top-tier law firms in Australia and New Zealand. Stephanie has over 10 years’ experience as an employment lawyer, including working as an in-house lawyer at director-level for one of Australia’s largest corporates.
Stephanie specialises in providing commercial solutions to employment law problems. She understands how commercial considerations can impact on managing legal risk and appreciates how staffing issues can affect the broader business. Like many aspects of business, staff issues are all about relationships and about having the right structures in place to ensure everyone’s interests are protected. Stephanie established Pinnacle Employment Law in 2017, with a view to providing employers with practical, cost-effective employment law advice and working closely with clients to understand their business. Stephanie advises clients big and small about hiring and managing staff and about what to do when problems arise.
Stephanie has an interest in governance and is on the Boards for the Hastings and Napier Women’s Refuges. Stephanie is also a member of the Hawke’s Bay Chamber of Commerce and is excited by the calibre of Hawke’s Bay businesses that are succeeding locally and on the world stage.
