Certificates of New Zealand or Foreign Origin

The Hawke’s Bay Chamber of Commerce is part of a global Chamber network that assists in exporting, importing and many other matters related to international trade.

A large number of exporters from the Bay and indeed elsewhere in New Zealand use the Certificates of Origin service when exporting goods to countries that require independent verification of New Zealand origin of goods.

The Chamber provides both a fully electronic and a manual certification service depending on the documentation required by the exporter.

Every morning exporters e-mail or post in in their certificates which are processed and collected, automatically emailed or couriered back to the firms. This same day service operates 5 days a week 7a.m.- 5p.m. and as required.

The system works on approved signatories being held in various countries and regular contact with embassies and customs officials. Being a Chamber member means that this service is at a discounted rate.
