Community Partnerships

Learning should have a strong focus on developing relationships between people and also ideas.
A key feature of E4E is the emphasis it places on schools developing meaningful partnerships with individuals, businesses and community groups outside of school to enable the development of rich and authentic contexts for enterprising student learning.

Businesses who engage with schools can provide students with:

  • A positive contribution to their education
  • Diversity, reality and interest to topics
  • Partnerships that enhance development of employability skills
  • Opportunities to build confidence and a positive attitude
  • Better communication skills

Business may benefit by:

  • supporting staff development such as management and team-work skills
  • extending your recruitment pool
  • enhancement of the reputation of your organisation in the community
  • utilising the creativity and enthusiasm of young people
  • becoming involved in the education process

Enterprise education provides a practical response to calls from business and industry, for more awareness and responsibility with increased drive and initiative from prospective employees.
