E4E is an approach to teaching and learning, rather than an additional programme, that adds value to school based learning right across the curriculum.
 
Meaningful learning opportunities for students are created by developing partnerships with business and community organisations. Students are engaged in relevant and authentic learning that allows them to apply enterprise skills and attributes to all areas of the curriculum.
 
As students embrace the rapid changes in knowledge creation and technological innovation of the 21st century, there is a need for students to develop the skills and enterprising attributes that will enable them to successfully manage personal, community, business and employment opportunities.
 
E4E sits right alongside the vision and principles from The Ministry of Education's New Zealand Curriculum with activities focusing on the Curriculum's Values and Key Competencies.
