
The following is the criteria:
Purpose of the Hawke’s Bay Business Hall of Fame
- To provide a gallery of enterprising leaders to act as role models to aspiring business leaders of the future
- To demonstrate how wealth is created through business
- To show that the creation of wealth and pursuit of profit provide the base from which to grow society and the economy, including the development of the arts and the funding of education
- To reinforce that business provides the employment by which people earn incomes
- To provide a focal point for enterprise
Selection Criteria
Criteria that will be used in the selection process include
- The candidate should have made a significant contribution to Hawke’s Bay society and economy through enterprise
- The candidate will have demonstrated community responsibility and involvement
- The candidate has put Hawke’s Bay business ‘on the map’ in their national or international involvement in business in their overall contribution to enterprise in New Zealand.
